She began her career in New York City performing her original songs in an off-Broadway show, "Pilgrims," and appeared regularly at several clubs.

Jane has also performed her music at a by-audition-only songwriter's night at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville.

Jane has received rave reviews from TAXI, the independent A & R company, which has compared her singing and songwriting to that of artists Annie Lennox, Sade, Carly Simon, and Carol King.

TAXI has praised Jane as having a flair for telling stories in [her] lyrics and a distinctive voice and style, and for coming up with strong melodies.

In 2003, Jane recorded a CD, "The Last of the Great Romantics," which is available for purchase on CDBaby.com.
